Pass your math certification on the first try.
QuantegyAI is adaptive prep for math teacher certification exams. Unlike static test banks, it identifies your exact gaps, adjusts after every response, and rebuilds your skills competency by competency.
One adaptive engine. Multiple certifications.
Each exam runs on the same IRT placement-and-practice loop, calibrated to its own framework. Pick the test you're preparing for.
TExES Mathematics 7-12

TExES Special Education EC-12
Special education certification framework. Tell us you're interested and we'll prioritize accordingly.
Static question banks don't teach you what you don't know.
Every test-taker has a different pattern of strengths and gaps. Generic prep books treat everyone the same — so you waste hours on topics you've already mastered and skim past the ones that will cost you the exam.
One-size-fits-nobody
Fixed chapter order ignores your real starting point. You either get bored or overwhelmed.
No feedback on why you missed
Answer keys tell you "wrong." They don't tell you which prerequisite is missing, or what to drill next.
Hours of low-value practice
Most of your study time is spent on questions that are too easy or too hard to teach you anything new.
Placement. Practice. Proof.
The engine adapts after every question. You only see items at the right edge of your ability — hard enough to grow, not so hard that you give up.
Adaptive diagnostic
A short placement session pinpoints your ability across all 20 TExES competencies. No grinding through topics you've already mastered.
Targeted practice
Each question is selected by Item Response Theory to match your current ability. Get it right, get harder. Get it wrong, get a worked example and a lower-difficulty variant.
Learning loops
When a gap appears, the engine opens a mini-loop on the missing prerequisite — then returns you to the original question to prove mastery.
Readiness score
A calibrated ability estimate tells you — in plain numbers — whether you are likely to pass. No guesswork, no wishful thinking.
Built on Item Response Theory, not content marketing.
The QuantegyAI engine uses a three-parameter logistic (3PL) model — the same framework used to score the SAT, GRE, MCAT, and the TExES itself — to estimate your ability after every response.
Every question is tagged with a difficulty, a discrimination, and a guessing parameter. After each answer, your ability estimate is updated, and the next question is chosen to sit near the boundary of what you can do. That boundary is where learning happens.
Adaptive systems of this kind have been shown in peer-reviewed work to match or exceed the learning gains of human tutors in several domains, often in a fraction of the study time.
Intro to AI: a hands-on course.
A short, plain-English course on working with AI assistants — how they actually work, how to prompt them, how to verify their output, and how to ship a working idea. Five lessons plus a capstone. No coding required. Roughly 30 minutes each.
Intro to AI
5 lessons + capstone · ~30 min each

- Lesson 2 — Working with an AI Assistant
- Lesson 3 — Prompting Well and Checking the Output
- Lesson 4 — From Idea to a Working MVP
- Capstone — Build a Concept Manipulative

Answers to the common questions.
Which exams does QuantegyAI cover?
Today, fully live: TExES Mathematics 7-12 (235) with 2,000+ calibrated items across the full TEA blueprint, plus a free Praxis Mathematics 5165 sampler. In active calibration: TExES Math 4-8 (115) — sign up for early access. On the roadmap: TExES Core Subjects EC-6 math (291), STR (293), and Special Education EC-12 (161). The exam picker above has notify-me links for each.
Is this aligned to the current TEA / ETS frameworks?
Yes. Each exam's question bank is mapped to the framework published by the relevant agency (TEA for TExES, ETS for Praxis). For TExES Math 7-12 (235) that's the six TEA domains and twenty competencies; for Praxis 5165, the seven ETS content categories. Every item is tagged to a specific sub-competency so your gap report reflects the actual test blueprint.
Who built this?
QuantegyAI was built by Dr. Mienie de Kock, a mathematics professor with a research interest in adaptive learning. The item bank was authored and reviewed against TEA framework descriptors.
How is this different from a prep book or video course?
Books and videos give every student the same material in the same order. QuantegyAI estimates your ability after each question and picks the next item from the zone where you actually learn — neither too easy nor too hard. You spend your study time where it changes your score.
Do I need to install anything?
No. QuantegyAI runs in any modern browser on phone, tablet, or desktop. Your progress syncs to your account so you can switch devices.
Is my data private?
Your email and response history are stored in an encrypted database and used only to adapt the engine to you. The privacy policy covers this in detail.
Can I try it before paying?
Yes. Create a free account and get a free adaptive sample on any live exam — 12 questions on TExES 7-12, 14 on Praxis 5165 — enough to see how the engine behaves on your specific strengths and gaps.
How does the pass-or-refund guarantee work?
If you buy the 90-day pass for an exam, complete a minimum practice threshold across the ninety days, and do not pass that exam, we refund the cost of the 90-day pass. The exact threshold and submission steps are listed on the refund page inside the app.
Can I prep for more than one exam at the same time?
Yes. Each exam is a separate purchase — your progress, mastery estimates, and readiness score are tracked per exam so a Praxis prep cycle doesn't muddy your TExES estimate (or vice versa). The exam switcher inside the app lets you flip between them at any time.
